Before Grandpa Meyer turned on the tap
In the 1990s, fed up with the stigma associated with mental illness, I began speaking out about Bipolar Disorder. And now, finally, I'm working on a memoir about my experience with it and how I used it for spiritual transformation. Unlike so many BD memoirs, mine will not be serving up a one-upmanship of war stories, nor will I be wringing my hands about what I now consider the most beneficial, if challenging, aspect of my life. My book will first be entertainment: Seven-foot sex-crazed manic giant on tear across Gothic South. You'll love it. I sure did.

At the moment, I'm also working with Sean Blackwell to prepare his book about his experience with mania for publication. In it, he details how he worked through a manic episode (which he came to view as spiritual emergency) to achieve a breakthrough in understanding and a richer life. Sean has by far the greatest presence on the internet on bipolar/spirituality and healing, and has posted over 35 videos on the subject to his YouTube channel and other sites. He is clear and organized, and speaks from experience with conviction, love, and integrity.

I hope you will buy and enjoy Walking on Glass, my first book. Measuring 6" x 9", it is the perfect size and will complement any décor.

Thank you,
Scott
